About the Department
The CSE department has pursued excellence since its inception, offering undergraduate, postgraduate and research programmes across the breadth of computer science. Its B.Tech and M.Tech curricula are designed to build strong fundamentals and the technical ability to innovate, backed by smart classrooms, a digital library, and dedicated AR/VR and Machine Learning labs that keep learning aligned with industry.
To nurture students into employable graduates who provide solutions to societal issues through ICT.
Focus on a practical approach to learning and expose students to the latest ICT technologies; foster logical thinking to solve real-time problems through innovative approaches; and provide state-of-the-art resources that instil ethical, life-long learning.
PEO1: Think out-of-the-box solutions for addressing societal issues through ICT.
PEO2: Analyse, design and implement software/hardware solutions to complex, interdisciplinary problems.
PEO3: Disseminate research effectively to become successful entrepreneurs or pursue higher education.

Message from Head of Department
The department is staffed by well-qualified, experienced faculty with access to more than 300 computing machines and the software and peripherals students need. We encourage participation in national symposiums and workshops, and regularly host FDPs, guest lectures, seminars and industrial visits. With computing careers spanning AI, software engineering, systems and networks, we continually look beyond our boundaries to give students a fulfilling academic experience.
