About
The Training and Placement Cell at GITS operates round the year facilitating campus placement of its students by collaborating with leading organizations and institutes in setting up internships and training programs. It serves as an interface between students and the corporate world — liaising with companies, organizing talks and seminars, providing internship opportunities and conducting campus recruitment activities.
The Training & Placement Office provides infrastructural facilities to conduct group discussions and interviews, computer labs for tests, and smart rooms with public addressing systems, along with other logistics.
What We Aim For
From the Head
In this age of globalization and competition, there is an ever-increasing requirement for vibrant, academically proficient students possessing a high employability index. We have been successful in improving our placement statistics each year by addressing industry requirements. We utilize services of experts with long corporate experience to guide and train our students, bridging the gap between academics and industry through value-added programs.
The Placement Cell arranges Mock Interviews, Group Discussions and Communication Skills Workshops, and organizes Public Sector Exam Training for students interested in government sectors. Our effective alumni network supports the institute by sharing experiences, training students and networking with organizations for placements. Alongside placement, the Entrepreneurship Development Cell and GITS Career Development Centre (GCDC) organize training programmes and seminars for future technocrats and entrepreneurs.
