CENTRAL LIBRARY
GITS Central Library serves as a major learning and resource centre, and is a creative and innovative partner in supporting the teaching, learning, scholarship and research activities of the institute.
It is the most lively place on campus, providing a safe, comfortable and friendly environment that enables learning and the advancement of knowledge. With seating for over 200 students, the library holds books, journals, magazines and newsletters from all over the world, supported by photocopying, audio-visual rooms, an electronic media section, a book bank and linkage with reputed libraries across India.
The collection encompasses around 46,000 books across Engineering, Management, Computer Applications, Basic Science and Humanities, and includes reference books, CD-ROMs, VCDs, DVDs and e-resources. A separate Digital Knowledge Centre enables users to browse e-journals, e-learning materials and digital library collections over the campus intranet.
