NAAC
The institute follows the academic regulations of the affiliating university and internally frames well-structured plans and strategies for curriculum delivery. A ‘Teacher’s Record Book (TRB)’ is prepared for every course containing day-wise topics, additional topics, expert lectures, objectives and outcomes, along with continuous internal assessments. The academic calendar is prepared per the affiliating university’s guidelines.
Teachers are involved in question-paper setting and evaluation of university answer scripts; some have served on the Academic Council/BoS and contributed to curriculum design. Add-on certificate programs are organized regularly, and students may complete NPTEL courses to earn extra credits and a Degree with Honors (20 extra credits). CBCS is implemented in all UG programmes with electives available in every program.
The university syllabus links to socio-cultural and cross-cutting issues via compulsory papers on Universal Human Values (UHV), Cyber Security and Environmental Engineering. All students compulsorily undertake field study. A structured feedback system from students, alumni, employers, parents and staff is reviewed regularly, with action taken reported to management and placed on the website.
